Together with eXpresso PLUS, Lavazza are delighted to announce the launch of the brand new Prontissimo coffee-to-go range, offering premium coffee in an instant solution. The launch will officially take place at the lunch! event in London on 21st September.
eXpresso PLUS is a leading provider of hot drink solutions, offering coffee-to-go, tea-to-go and food-to-go products for a range of businesses. Lavazza and eXpresso PLUS have been working in partnership for over three years serving premium bean-to-cup coffee.
Prontissimo is Lavazza’s first microground coffee which has been available in major supermarkets since last year and proven successful with shoppers. Prontissimo is a Columbian Arabica blend with 10% finely grounded roasted coffee beans. Andrew Smith, OCS and Vending Development Manager at Lavazza, said “We’re pleased to be launching the new range of Prontissimo solutions in partnership with eXpresso PLUS. We’ve been working with them for a long time and so have no doubt that between their first class service and our authentic Italian coffee, the Prontissimo range will be a great success”.
The Prontissimo solutions includes seven ranges; the Pisa and Modena solutions offer a coffee shop experience with the complete hot drinks menu whilst the Siena 4 and 5 ranges present an alternative coffee experience for those with limited space. The Taranto range comes as a table top or as a compact footprint unit and the Turin range is ideal for bulk brewing, dispensing five litres in just one minute. Finally the Verona satisfies the tastes of the most demanding palettes with its outstanding consistency.
All of these solutions are suitable for almost any environment including offices, hotels, forecourts, convenience, universities and hospitals. The first machine to be launched was the Prontissimo Pisa at Staffordshire University.
Manish Shah at eXpresso PLUS commented “The brand new range of Prontissimo coffee-to-go solutions offer clients a quality alternative to bean-to-cup machines. As the coffee has a shelf-life of 24 months, re-stocking the machine is minimalised, making the maintenance easy and guaranteeing the quality in the cup”. As with most of our machines, all Prontissimo solutions are under 1m2, meaning that minimal space is required.
The latest range, exclusively from eXpresso PLUS, gives businesses an opportunity to add value to their service, differentiate from competitors and create a new revenue stream. Furthermore, eXpresso PLUS will provide ongoing training and marketing support where needed to ensure companies receive the best from their machine.
For every sale from the Prontissimo range, eXpresso PLUS will be donating £50 to RNIB, their nominated charity. RNIB are the Royal National Institute of Blind People supporting those affected by sight loss and offering practical and emotional support. Jacquie McGuire, Regional Fundraising Manager, from RNIB commented “eXpresso PLUS has been a proud contributor to RNIB for over five years. We are delighted that they continue to support our charity through donations, their generosity helps to support many individuals affected by sight-loss.”
With the coffee market continuing to grow, an estimated £7.2bn is spent in the UK on takeaway coffee each year with a £1bn year on year growth, there’s never been a better time to offer a Prontissimo coffee-to-go solution in your work place.
